I have done a lot of self-development, and one of my favourite books to date is The Big Leap, by Gay Hendrix. He talks about how our subconscious may get in our way when we reach for new limits... in better relationships, our finances or our careers. We may expand in an area, and if our subconscious does not feel we are worthy to have that, then something will happen to take us down a notch or two. We may have a fight with our spouse, or lose money in the stock market. Once we recognize that we are affected by our "upper limit problem" we can take measures to counteract that and be open to expansion and know we are worthy of sustained growth in our life.

I have learned how to follow the ENERGY of what is next for me, instead of analyzing and contemplating, and then suffering from Overwhelm. I can now CHOOSE what's next, and when that doesn't work anymore, I get to CHOOSE again, and again and again if need be! How much fun is that... having the Freedom to Choose... WOW! My life now has a lot more FLUIDITY, and I am Tickled to be able to share these wonderful tools with others. Who wants to join me in my Playground? February can be a drab month with little sunshine and many cold days when living in Canada. To uplift my mood and spirits, I enjoy getting out for walks in the forest, and when time permits, cross country skiing. Snow shoeing is the next winter sport I would like to try!
There are some essential oils that I just adore to help me feel warm and happy during the winter months. Ylang ylang is known to help stabilize the mood and has a calming effect. It can help with stress and may offer a restful night. It may reduce hot flashes by applying to the bottom of the feet on a daily basis. For some women, it may help stimulate sexual desire. Grounding Blend is a wonderful smelling blend that can help with vertigo, and balance out a person's mood. This is a nice one to rub on the back of the neck, or along the front and back of the ears for vertigo. Clary Sage is known as a hormone stimulant, and may be effective as an aphrodisiac. It may help with PMS, menstrual cramps and menopause symptoms. It is also good for circulation and muscle spasms. I started doing Sample Saturday's as a way of teaching people about the Healthy benefits of Essential Oils. October and November 2014 were pretty successful, and I gave away a few samples of oils for people to try.
